  • Doing things that are unkind, dangerous or breaking the school rules, will consequent in losing 5 minutes of Golden Time at one time. This can be earned back from good behaviour.

  • Eco points are gained by helping the environment, recycling, turning off lights, and eating everything at lunch time.

  • There are 2 double games sessions on a Tuesday and a Thursday.

  • You will also have 1 P.E lesson a week every Monday.

Each Friday, via Google Classroom, you will be set :

Your spelling tests are on Thursdays. Times tables are tested 3 times during the week.

We would also like you to go on Times Tables Rockstars as often as possible to practise your tables.

You must try to read at home as often as possible. Your target is to read 5 times a week.

French words/ spellings will also be set via Google Classroom each week. You need to practise these for your next French lesson.

A termly home learning project page with a range of interesting and exciting optional projects for you to work on at home can also be found on Google Classroom. We encourage independent learning in Year 3 and look forward to seeing what creative ideas you have for your home learning tasks. We look forward to seeing photos, videos or slideshows of what you create.

Playtimes

  • Playtime is great in the prep school. You have more space to run around and explore!

  • Make sure you play nicely and look after your friends.

  • If you need anything at break time, there is always a teacher outside on duty. Go to them.

  • Morning short break and little tea in the afternoon both have snacks provided.
